Intro
Design calendar that users will want to use, Instead or in addition their regular calendar.
I made this project in advanced UI UX course in 6B studio, with Sagi Schreiber.
Stage 1: Empathize
When I was a teenager, my friends and I had a special calendar, a Perpetual Calendar.
Each page had the name of the month, all the days of the month in a long column, and an empty line beside each day.
On the lines we each wrote our birthdays and other important dates, then I put mine in a drawer and forgot all about it…
I always wondered how one of my childhood friends managed to keep watching it and send congrats messages in our WhatsApp group on our birthdays for years (in the last two years even she stopped doing it).
Nowadays, I am sometimes surprised to find out that I forgot an important date, or that I planned things at work on a day I would rather spend celebrating a loved one’s birthday, so I tried to find a solution that would help me keep my important days forever and that would remind me of them on time.

A calendar that helps you remember your loved ones’ birthdays and anniversaries.
An app that syncs with your calendars and helps you remember important dates.
The app allows you to see your schedule and reminds you the dates you choose to remember, you can also use it to send a congrats message or share the occasion on social media.
My inspirations were Apple’s calendar and Instagram’s feed.

In normal use of the app, the home page gives a quick overview of:
Important dates
Events that exist today
A reminder of nostalgic events from the past
Possibility to see stories of friends.
The Calendar
A clear view, with small pictures of our favorites on the dates of their anniversaries.
Below the calendar appear a breakdown of events from the regular calendar and anniversaries.
Beloved's profile
Every loved one, has a profile page, where the dates associated with him are written.
You can share a birthday, wish on the networks, see our photos together and read the basic information about this anniversary.
